Immuno Modulatory

Immunity may be defined as the body’s ability to identify and resist large numbers of infectious and potentially harmful microorganisms, enabling the body to prevent or resist diseases and inhibit organ and tissue damage.
The Ayurvedic system of medicine is one of the oldest systems of medicine and stresses the use of plant-based medicines and treatments. Various plants identified in the Indian Ayurvedic system of medicine display a wealth of pharmacological properties.

Rasayana therapy of Ayurveda is known to improve immunity, prevent the effects of ageing and improve the quality of life for healthy as well as diseased individuals. The word Rasayana, a combination of two words (rasa and ayana), refers to nutrition and its transportation throughout the body.

Rasayana therapy enhances the qualities of rasa, enriching it with nutrients so one can attain longevity, improved memory and intelligence, freedom from disorder, youthfulness, excellence of hair, complexion and voice, optimum development of physique and sense organs, mastery over phonetics and brilliance.

Post-Natal Care & Medications

Mother’s health becomes weak after delivery, due to the loss of fluid and blood and the emptiness created in the body after the child’s birth. The phase after delivery until the restoration of the menstrual cycle is called the Sutika period in Ayurveda. A special regimen is recommended for this period to make good the loss of fluid and faster recuperation and restoration of the mum’s health.

The aims of postnatal care are to improve digestion and metabolism, Vata balance and support lactation. The mother and baby should get proper massages with medicated oils, herbal drinks, medicines for proper lactation and get back the physical fitness she had and then, most importantly, stay fit. A special diet plan for the Prasuta is recommended for this period to make good the loss of the reproductive fluids, Dhatus and blood during the pregnancy and delivery. The Prasuta should consume light yet nourishing food during the sutika period.

Proper adherence to this regimen results in faster recuperation and restoration of the health of the mother. Adequate care and precautions along with the prescribed regimen ensures that the mother regains her physical charm and maintains a beautiful figure and retains health akin to that of her pre pregnancy days. Krishna Sanjeevani gives personalised consultation to suit your constitution keeping with the centuries old traditions of India.

Spine & Neck Care Management

In the classification of Dhatukshayajanya Vatavyadhis, many degenerative conditions are considered.

Ayurveda can play a significant role to prevent this syndrome by following particular conducts like dietary regulation, daily regimen, seasonal regimen. Ayurveda consider that diet contains six types of basic tastes viz. sweet, sour, salt, pungent, bitter, astringent and each taste has predominance of particular bio-humors (Vata, Pitta and Kapha) and tissue function.

Our Dietary advise services are based on the eight factors like Prakrti (qualitative characteristics of diet) Karana (processing of diet), samyoga (mixing/combination of diet), Rashi (quantity of diet), Desha (habitat of diet), Kala (time as per age, season and condition), Upayoga Samstha (variable digestibility of different diet) Upayokta (the person who takes the diet) should be considered before taking the food as facilitates the proper digestion, assimilation and nourishment to the body

The important causative factors of the lifestyle disorders are poor physical fitness, lack of sleep, fast food habits, stress, worry and poor health habits like smoking and alcohol. All these have bad impact on health. The common lifestyle disorders are Arthritis, Atherosclerosis, Asthma, Cancer, Chronic Liver Disease, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, Type-2 Diabetes, Heart Diseases, Osteoporosis, Depression and Obesity.

If one follows the rules of dietetics, Sadvritta and undergoes Samsodhana regularly and other preventive measures, lifestyle disorders are easily preventable and the adverse effects reversible to a large extent.

Body Constitution Assessment - Prakriti

Ayurveda is one of the oldest health sciences of the world with concepts of Tridosha and Prakriti (Ayurvedic constitution) being core philosophies. Unique concept of Prakriti makes this science a step forward towards personalized approach of treatment. Fundamental object of Ayurveda is not limited only to   prevention and cure of the diseases but to provide bliss for complete happiness by maintaining total health called Chaturvidha Purushartha. Prakriti means consequence of the relative proportion of three doshas. Each dosha has specific attributes (gunas), which are expressed in physical, physiological, and psychological characteristics.

According to Ayurveda, we are born with our own unique ratio of 3 Doshas or “mind-body types:” Vata (Air), Pitta (Fire) and Kapha (Earth). Each Dosha expresses unique blends of physical, emotional and mental characteristics known as “qualities,” which can be used to describe us, as well as everything around us.

Wound Care & Management

In spite of the advances that have been made, the management of chronic wounds is still a challenge for the clinician. Suśruta, who is considered the father of surgery, was aware of the importance of wound management and first defined the concept of vraṇa in Ayurveda. He elaborately describes the Etiopathogenesis of wounds, along with their treatments. He has described Shashthi Upakramas (sixty measures) for Vrana Ropana (wound healing). Suśruta describes Ṣaṣṭi Upakramas (60 measures) for the management of Vraṇa. His primary approach involves Sodhana (purification) and Ropaṇa (healing) of Vraṇa. In addition to local application, oral administration of herbs is also specified to enhance wound healing. Various medicinal plants, minerals, and materials of animal origin are prescribed for wound healing under the term Vra1ṇa Ropaka (wound healing agent).

Ayurveda describes various herbs, fats, oils and minerals with anti-aging as well as wound healing properties. With aging, numerous changes occur in skin, including decrease in tissue cell regeneration, decrease in collagen content, loss of skin elasticity and mechanical strength. We at Krishna Sanjeevani provide a comprehensive and customised Wound Care Management plan based on ancient Ayurvedic traditional practices combined with counseling by experienced doctors.
